Glace Pears

$8.95

Glace Fruit is also known as ‘candied’ or ‘crystallised’ fruit. Our delicious, baby whole pears have been prepared in a dense, heated sugar syrup, which absorbs the moisture from within the fruit and eventually preserves it. Candied pears have a subtle, sweet flavour and are perfect for baking, cake decorating, cheese platters and festive occasions. Glacé pears make a beautiful addition to both the plate and the pantry.

Use these scrumptious, baby candied pears to decorate cakes and puddings, or serve them on fruit and cheese platters as an alternative when fresh pears are out of season.

The fruit was perfect, some of the best ever. However, I was disappointed to see that it's a product of China, so I won't be placing another order

Glace Fruit excellent quality

Glace fruit can be hard to find these days and is an essential ingredient in the Great Australian Frozen Christmas Pudding the Women's Weekly published in the 1960's. Your glace fruit is a particularly nice quality. Thanks.

Glace fruit purchase

Purchased a selection of different glace fruis to make some fruit balls fir Christmas. Loved the way they arrived in separate little containers. I haven’t made the balls yet because I know I will eat them before Christmas but am sure they will be delicious. Thank you for prompt delivery.
