Raw Walnuts
Our raw walnuts are light and golden brown, have a soft creamy texture with a fresh flavour. Australian Grown in Tasmania with the use of minimal pesticides and no added preservatives. They are a scrumptious natural snack, excellent mixed with other nuts and a wonderful addition to your salads and baked goods.
To say that walnuts are a nutritious food is a bit of an understatement. Raw Walnuts provide healthy fats, fibre, vitamins and minerals — and that’s just the beginning of how they may support your health. Walnuts are an excellent source of antioxidants that can help fight oxidative damage in your body, a good source of the plant form of omega-3 fat and several plant compounds and nutrients in Walnuts may help decrease inflammation, which is a key culprit in many chronic diseases.

Walnuts raw can be enjoyed on their own as a quick snack, or combined with dried fruit and seeds to create a custom trail mix. Add roughly chopped Walnuts to muesli; smoothies; acai bowls; oat or quinoa porridge; or natural yoghurt and breakfast bowls.
Raw nuts can be activated by soaking in water for 8-12 hours, before slowly dehydrating at very low heat. Use finely chopped Walnuts to crumb fish or meat, in veggie burgers, nut loaves and stuffing mix. Walnuts are particularly delicious in fresh salads. Great for both raw food sweet or savoury recipes; and in home-baked bread, muffins, cakes and biscuits. Versatile and healthy, Walnuts are a great pantry staple.
