Glace Mixed Peel
Our Mixed Citrus Peel (Candied peel) has a firm texture with an aromatic, sweet and tart citrus flavour. A mix of preserved orange and lemon peel that is ready to use in desserts, baked goods and even savoury recipes.
Candied or Glacé citrus peel has long been used as a delicious addition to cakes, used because of their thriftiness of saving the normally discarded peel and being an easily kept food item, as the sugar which encases them also serves to preserve them. This is what makes them a favourite addition to the pantry of any baker.

Glace Mixed Peel is convenient and easy to use. A must in traditional mince tarts, Italian Panettone and boiled fruit cakes, you can also include it in home-baked muffins, cakes, fruit bread, biscuit and muesli bar recipes.
Use mixed citrus peel in dessert recipes like steamed puddings, slices, compote, or ice cream and gelato. It is also a great ingredient to add to pickles and chutneys, stuffing mixes, and salt rubs for meat or fish. For a delicious twist add glacé mixed peel directly to your slow-cooked curries and stews.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
