Glace Figs
Our delicious whole glacé figs have been prepared in a dense, heated sugar syrup, which absorbs the moisture from within the fruit and eventually preserves it. They have a sweet flavour, and are perfect for baking, cake decorating, cheese platters and festive occasions. Glazed figs make a beautiful addition to both the plate and the pantry. Glace Fruit is also known as ‘candied’ or ‘crystallised’ fruit.

These candied figs can be used whole or chopped up in baking and dessert recipes. Add some to homemade ice cream and gelato, chocolates and confections. Why not try glazed fruit biscotti with our glacé fig, dipped into our gorgeous vegan dark chocolate for a decadent treat or gift.
Use these sweet figs to decorate cakes, pancakes and puddings, or serve them on fruit and cheese platters with walnut bread and camembert, as an alternative to fresh figs when out of season.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
