Glace Apricots
Our Glacé Apricots have been prepared by first halving and then placing them in a dense, heated sugar syrup, which absorbs the moisture from within the fruit and eventually preserves it. Glace Apricots retain their lush, natural apricot colour, with a sweet citrus flavour and aroma. Our Non-GMO, candied apricots are perfect for baking and cake-decorating.
Glace Apricots are also known as ‘candied apricots’ or ‘crystallised apricots’. In the US they are also called glazed apricots. If your recipe requires any of these, this is the product to buy. Glace apricot is usually used as a garnish on top of desserts or cakes. You can also add them to any baked goods in general. In particular, try adding glace apricots inside the mixture before baking.
