Cashew Butter
We take our high quality dry roasted cashews and blend them down in our in-house nut mill to make a pure, creamy cashew butter. This mild tasting spread contains no additives, including sugar or salt – often found in commercial nut butters, it's preservative free and ready to eat by the spoonful! Cashew butter is delicious as a spread or can be added to desserts, raw food recipes, savoury and sweet baked goods.
It has a mild sweet flavour and milky texture with all the added health benefits of cashews. Cashew nuts are high in copper, a trace mineral that is essential for immune function, heart muscles and iron and fat metabolism and are a good source of iron, B6 and potassium. They are also rich in the mineral magnesium, important for over 300 different reactions involved in blood sugar balance, muscular contraction, sleep maintenance and pain management.

The Nut Market preservative-free cashew butter is a delicious spread on its own or with classics like jam or smashed banana. Spread it on toast, wraps, with crusty bread, or blend it in smoothies, protein shakes or add to nutritious breakfast bowls and desserts.
Scoop our pure nut butter up with celery, carrot and capsicum ‘sticks’ or seasonal fruit for a quick and easy snack. Cashew Butter is also great in marinades and vegan cheese sauces, complimenting vegetables and meats – and can substitute for ground peanuts in satays. It makes a perfect addition to a broad spectrum of recipes including home-baked cookies, muffins and slices, or raw food treats – great for energy balls and muesli bars.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
