Blue Banana Smoothie Bowls

If the captivating colour doesn't convince you to give this vibrant smoothie bowl a try, the combination of flavours most certainly will! Blue spirulina powder gives this banana-apple combination its vibrant colour and tea-like earthiness. Topped off with some Nut Market Organic Rolled Oats & Almond Butter. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1/2 small Fuji apple, cored and peeled
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened nut or hemp milk of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
  • 1/4 cup vanilla coconut yoghurt, divided
  • The Nut Market Organic Rolled Oats
  • The Nut Market Almond Butter
  • Blueberries or Fruit of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine banana, apple, ice, milk, spirulina powder, and 3 tablespoons of yogurt in a blender. Process on high until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into a serving bowl.

2. Garnish smoothie with remaining 1 tablespoon yogurt, almond butter, organic rolled oats and fruit.
